Wiring Harness Manufacturing Process

Inward Inspection

We start by thoroughly inspecting raw materials & components for compliance with specifications to ensure only materials enter production.

Storage

Approved materials are stored in controlled conditions to maintain their integrity until needed.

Wire Cutting & Stripping

Precisely cutting wires to length and stripping insulation from wire ends using automated machines and pneumatic stripping machines for multicore cables, preparing them for further processing.

Twisting &Tinning

Wire strands are twisted for consistency and then tinned to enhance solderability and prevent corrosion.

Crimping

Terminals are crimped onto wire ends with precision.

Connector Assembly

Connectors are assembled securely to ensure crimped cable as per drawing position.

Sleeve Assembly & HST Heating

Protective sleeves (PVC / HST) are fitted over wires, followed by Heat Shrink Tubing (HST) application using heating equipment for insulation and mechanical protection.

Harness Assembly

Components are arranged based on assembly diagrams and connected, often manually for complex designs, using cable ties, tape, or other binding methods.

Routing, Labelling &PVC Taping

Wires are neatly routed, labelled for identification, and PVC tape is applied to bundle wires tightly and provide additional protection.

Tie Assembly

Cable tie secures the harness, maintaining organization & preventing movement that could cause wear.

Testing

Each Harness undergoes rigorous electrical & mechanical testing including continuity & Pull tests to verify performance & durability.

Final visual inspection

A thorough visual inspection is conduced to identify any defects such as improper connections or damage ensuring only flawless products proceed.

Packing & Dispatch

Finished wiring harness are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit & promptly dispatched to customers.
